Promoters
This conference is promoted by:
Spanish society for Terrestrial Ecology (AEET)
The AEET is a national, non-profit scientific society, registered in the Spanish National Register of Associations on July 3, 1989.
The purpose of AEET is to promote ecological research, and to achieve this,
we have set the following objectives: to foster the exchange of knowledge
among researchers, support the training of new generations of ecologists,
and—equally important—communicate and disseminate ecological science. This
includes clarifying concepts, encouraging citizen participation in research
activities, promoting the responsible application of ecological knowledge
in matters of public interest, and giving due credit and visibility to
the most significant contributions in our field. Therefore, AEET does not
aim to limit itself to purely academic activity, but rather considers it
a priority to play a connecting role between science and society.
We currently have over 1,000 members, including researchers, educators, students, technicians, ecology professionals, and managers of natural areas from both public and private organizations, as well as research and educational institutions across the country. Among our ranks, we include five recipients of the National Research Award 'Alejandro Malaspina' in Natural Resources Science and Technology, one recipient of the National Research Award for young researchers 'Ángeles Alvariño', seven 'Rei Jaume I' Awards for Environmental Protection, three Ramon Margalef Awards in Ecology, and one BBVA Foundation Award for Biodiversity Conservation.
AEET is the promoter of the prize: "Distinction LUIS BALAGUER - Ecosistemas", Intended to honour a member of the AEET, for a scientific-academic career dedicated to terrestrial ecology, marked by scientific rigour, commitment, integrity, motivation and solidarity. Furhtermore, AEET promotes three awards to: i) Significant Contribution to Diversity and Inclusion in Academia; ii) Significant Contribution to Open Science and iii) Significant Contribution to Scientific Dissemination. These award are given during this conference.
AEET is the publisher of the open-access peer-reviewed journal Ecosistemas.

French Society for Ecology and Evolution (SFE²)
SFE² is a non-profit association under the French law of 1901, recognized as being of public utility.
Its mission is to promote the visibility of ecological and evolutionary sciences in France by encouraging the development, integration, and sharing of knowledge in all its forms. It represents the entire community of French ecologists and evolutionary scientists and undertakes joint actions with other societies and associations to foster genuine dialogue between different forms of knowledge, involving scientists, managers, and users.
SFE² plays an active role in the life of ecological and evolutionary sciences by awarding prizes to both established and early-career researchers, supporting projects through grants, sponsoring or organizing conferences, facilitating the creation of thematic research groups, and taking positions on certain societal issues or matters related to the organization of science.
The SFE² is the promoter of "Le Grand Prix de la SFE²" designed to award an ecologist or evolutionary scientist in recognition of their body of work and dedication to the sciences of ecology and evolution in the broadest sense, and promoter of "Le Prix Recherche de la SFE² " intended to reward an ecologist/evolutionary biologist at the beginning or middle of their career for the originality and scope of their scientific work.

European Ecological Federation (EEF)
The European Ecological Federation enables cooperation between eighteen ecological societies in twenty countries to promote the science of ecology in Europe and across the world. It does this through: providing a forum for effective communication throughout the community of ecological scientists in Europe on matters of common interest; disseminating ecological knowledge through meetings, publications and other means; acting in an advisory, consultative and representative capacity in relation to European institutions; promoting collaborative activity on those matters where there is a pan-European context and cooperating with other international organisations.
The EEF is the promoter of the Ernst Haeckel Prize, designed to honour a senior ecologist for an outstanding contribution to European ecological science. The award is given during this conference.
The EEF is also the publisher of the open-access peer-reviewed journal Web Ecology.
